# RoxSkin: on-body sponsorship for HYROX athletes

RoxSkin is an independent platform where HYROX athletes get sponsored. Each athlete turns a short phone scan into a 3D avatar with 15 sponsor spots. Brands bid for spots for a specific race; when a brand is outbid it is refunded in full automatically. Whoever holds a spot at the auction deadline has their logo printed as a skin-safe temporary tattoo that the athlete wears on race day. RoxSkin also publishes a HYROX race calendar, race-weekend city guides and training guides. Not affiliated with HYROX.

## How it works for athletes

1. Sign up and pick the HYROX races you're entering.
2. Scan your body with a phone (or upload 4 photos) to get a 3D avatar with 15 sponsor spots.
3. Open a sponsor auction for a race and share your page.
4. Before the race, the winning logos are printed as temporary tattoos for you to wear.

## How it works for brands

1. Browse athletes by race, division and country.
2. Preview your logo on an athlete's 3D avatar, then claim a spot by paying the current price.
3. If another brand takes the spot over, you're refunded in full automatically.
4. If you still hold the spot at the deadline, your logo races with the athlete and you get race photos.

## FAQ

### What is on-body sponsorship for HYROX?

Brands pay to put their logo on a spot on your body (chest, shoulder, bicep, back…) for one race. You wear it as a temporary tattoo, and it shows on your 3D avatar page for everyone who visits.

### Is it a real tattoo?

No. It's a temporary, skin-safe tattoo printed from the sponsor's logo and applied before the race. It's gone in a few days.

### Do I need a big following to get sponsors?

No, but it helps. Spots start low (around $30–50) and the price doubles each time someone takes one over, so gym mates, local businesses and your network can still start a bidding war.

### How do I get my 3D avatar?

A friend walks around you with a phone for about 5 minutes while you stand still in race kit. We turn the photos into a 3D model and map your 15 sponsor spots onto it.

### What happens when a brand gets outbid?

They're refunded in full, automatically. Only the brand holding the spot at the auction deadline pays, and their logo is printed for race day.

### Is wearing sponsor logos allowed at HYROX races?

Check your event's athlete rules before you list: rules on branding can vary by event and division. We'll show the rules we know of on each race page.

### Is RoxSkin affiliated with HYROX?

No. RoxSkin is an independent platform for athletes who race HYROX. HYROX is a trademark of its owner.

### Can I race for a charity?

Yes. Switch on a charity auction in your dashboard and tell us the charity's registered name and number. We check it on the official charity register before a "verified charity" badge appears on your profile, showing sponsors who the money goes to and what share. Charity auctions pay half our usual commission.
