## Race weekend guide (checked 2026-10-15)

HYROX Noida brings three days of racing to India Expo Mart, the big exhibition complex in Greater Noida on the southeastern edge of Delhi NCR, where the Yamuna Expressway starts its run to Agra. The one thing to know: mid-January in NCR often brings fog and very poor air, so plan to do your shakeouts indoors and check the AQI every morning.

### Race weekend at a glance

- **Dates:** Friday 15 January to Sunday 17 January 2027
- **Venue:** India Expo Mart (IEML)
- **Address:** Plot No. 23–25 and 27–29, Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201306, India
- **Nearest public transport:** Knowledge Park II station on the Noida Metro Aqua Line. Venue guides disagree on the distance, from about 500 m to 2 km depending on the gate, and auto-rickshaws wait outside the station.
- **Divisions:** HYROX Open and Pro singles, Doubles and Relay. The race schedule is still to be confirmed.

### Getting to the venue

**From Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL):** The venue is about 55–60 km away, which typically takes 1.5–2 hours by road depending on traffic. Uber runs from DEL, and you can reserve a ride for when you land.

**From Noida International Airport (DXN):** The new airport at Jewar opened to commercial flights on 15 June 2026, with IndiGo, Akasa Air and Air India Express flying domestic routes. It sits on the Yamuna Expressway, which ends at Pari Chowk next to the venue. Access is by road only: cabs, Uber or buses.

**From central Delhi:** Take the Delhi Metro Blue Line to Noida Sector 52. Cross the footbridge to Noida Sector 51 and ride the Aqua Line south to Knowledge Park II. By car, allow 1–1.5 hours.

### Where to stay

Few hotels are within walking distance. Knowledge Park keeps you closest, while Surajpur and Kasna have full-service hotels with pools and spas about 10 minutes away. Central Noida has more restaurants but adds a long ride each day.

- **Holiday Inn Express Greater Noida Knowledge Park:** In Knowledge Park III, about 5 km or a few minutes' drive from the venue. A practical, good-value base.
- **Crowne Plaza Greater Noida:** At Surajpur Chowk, about 8–9 km away, with an outdoor pool, a 24-hour health club and Vritti Spa by Tattva for post-race treatments.
- **Radisson Blu Hotel Greater Noida:** In Kasna (Site IV), about 10 minutes from India Expo Mart, with a fitness center, an outdoor pool and a steam room.
- **Jaypee Greens Golf and Spa Resort:** A golf resort about 10 minutes from the Expo Mart, with a gym, an outdoor pool and a spa.

### Gyms for pre-race training

- **Anytime Fitness Knowledge Park 2 (Knowledge Park II):** On the second floor of India Expo Plaza in the venue's district. It's open 24 hours, with cardio and strength equipment. Members of Anytime clubs abroad get access worldwide. Day-pass terms aren't published; the club offers a "Try Us Free" option, so call ahead.
- **Anytime Fitness Delta1 (Delta 1):** At Global Business Square on Wipro Road, a short ride from Pari Chowk, also open 24 hours. Day-pass availability isn't confirmed.

### Where locals run

- **City Park (Greater Noida):** A large landscaped park in central Greater Noida, a short drive from the venue, with paved walking and jogging paths. The district administration lists it as a jogging spot.
- **Noida Stadium (Sector 21A):** A gravel perimeter path of about 1.3 km per loop, flat and easy to count laps on. Worth it if you're staying in central Noida.
- **Okhla Bird Sanctuary and Gautam Buddha Park (Okhla):** Trails along the Yamuna on the Delhi border connect to stone-paved park paths, for flat out-and-back runs of about 5 km.

### Where to eat and fuel up

- **Mosaic (Crowne Plaza Greater Noida):** The hotel's all-day buffet restaurant. Order dal makhani with rice for a classic North Indian pre-race carb load close to the venue.
- **Lakshmi Coffee House (Sector 29):** In Brahmaputra Market, known for dosas and filter coffee. Light and carb-heavy the day before a race.
- **Biryani Blues (The Great India Place):** In the Noida mall. Its paneer or chicken biryani thali is a filling rice meal for about ₹700 for two.
- **Bhole Chature (Sector 18):** A Sector 18 stop for chole bhature, Delhi's favorite fried bread with spiced chickpeas. Save it for after the race, not before.
- **Chaayos (The Grand Venice Mall):** A tea and coffee chain on the lower ground floor of the mall at Pari Chowk, near the venue. Handy for chai and a snack between waves.

### Race weekend events and parties

As of 15 October 2026, HYROX had not announced an official after-party, expo or community run for HYROX Noida. The venue will have the HYROX Entertainment Zone with partners. Check HYROX's official channels for updates closer to race week.

### After the race

**Recovery:**

- **Vritti Spa by Tattva (Crowne Plaza Greater Noida):** Ayurvedic treatments, scrubs and deep-tissue massage at the hotel in Surajpur.
- **Jaypee Greens spa (Jaypee Greens Golf and Spa Resort):** Massages and treatments at the resort, about 10 minutes from the venue.

**Things to do:**

- Drive the **Yamuna Expressway** from Pari Chowk to Agra, about 1 hour 40 minutes, to see the **Taj Mahal**. It's closed on Fridays, and foreign visitors pay ₹1,100 for entry.
- Look for winter migrant birds at **Okhla Bird Sanctuary**, home to more than 300 species, on the Yamuna.
- Wander **Noida Haat** in Sector 33A for regional street food such as dal baati churma and vada pav.

### Local insights

- **Expect polluted air:** In January 2026, Greater Noida ranked among India's ten most polluted cities, according to CREA's monthly snapshot, and CPCB rated it "Very Poor" (AQI 358) on 16 January. Check the AQI each morning, and do your shakeout on a treadmill if it's high.
- **Fog and cold mornings:** January is the peak of winter in NCR, with average highs around 20°C (68°F) and lows near 7°C (45°F). Dense fog is common and can cut visibility on roads, so leave extra time for airport transfers.
- **Sunday metro starts late:** Noida Metro has run 06:00–22:00 Monday to Saturday but only from 08:00 on Sundays. If you race early on Sunday 17 January, book a cab instead.
- **Book cabs in the app:** Uber operates at Delhi airport and across NCR. Reserve your airport pickup ahead to skip the taxi lines.
- **Carry cash and a card:** UPI QR codes are everywhere, but most foreign visitors can't use UPI without an Indian bank account. NPCI's UPI One World wallet for visitors has only had a limited rollout, so bring rupees and a Visa or Mastercard.
- **Eat like a Delhiite:** Dal makhani or rajma with rice is the comfort carb load here. Keep chole bhature and fried street snacks for after the race.
- **Be careful with water:** The CDC advises travelers to India to avoid unsafe food and water. Stick to sealed bottled water, including on race morning.

### Race-day tips for this venue

- **Bring a physical ID.** You can only check in on your own race day, and nobody can check in for you.
- **Arrive 90 minutes early.** Registration for each division opens 90 minutes before its first wave. Start times go up about three days before.
- **Allow for fog and traffic.** Winter fog and NCR traffic can slow the drive in, so book your ride early, especially on Sunday when the metro opens later.
- **Spectators need tickets.** Friends who want to watch need a spectator ticket and ID, and enter through the Spectators Desk.
- **Pack warm layers.** Mornings are cold and hazy. Bring a jacket for warm-up and a mask for the trip if the air is bad.

### FAQ

### Where should I stay for HYROX Noida?

Knowledge Park and Pari Chowk keep you closest to the venue. Surajpur and Kasna have full-service hotels with pools and spas about 10 minutes away.
