HYROX Dallas runs for five days at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, on the southern edge of downtown, using Halls B and C. Mid-November is usually mild, which suits a shakeout on the Katy Trail. The one thing to know: the center is mid-rebuild and the DART station beside it is closed to riders, so walk from Union Station.
Checked 15 October 2026. Details change, so confirm bookings directly.

Local insights for Dallas
The things a friend who lives here would tell you before race weekend.
The station next door is shut
Trains pass through Convention Center Station without stopping. Walk from EBJ Union Station, or book a GoLink ride from Union Station or Cedars Station in the GoPass app.
Pay for DART in the app
Buy passes in the GoPass app, on a GoPass Tap card, or at ticket machines that take cash and cards. DART checks tickets at random, so keep proof of payment until you leave the station.
DFW's train only leaves from Terminal A
The Orange Line platform is at Terminal A. The Silver Line at Terminal B goes north to Plano, not downtown.
Prices don't include tax
Dallas adds 8.25% sales tax at the till. Restaurants expect a tip of about 18 to 20% of the pre-tax bill.
Tap water is fine
Dallas Water Utilities holds Texas's top "Superior" rating, and its 2025 report says the water is safe to drink.
Bring a card
The convention center is cashless, though there are ATMs on Level 2 in the A and C Lobbies.
November is mild
Average highs are about 20°C (68°F) and lows about 9°C (48°F). Early morning heats can feel chilly, so pack a warm layer for the walk in.
Tex-Mex is the local carb
Enchiladas, rice, beans and tortillas are Dallas's comfort food, and locals eat them before a big effort.
Getting to Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center
From DFW Airport
Take the DART Orange Line from DFW Airport Terminal A Station, near Gate A10. From other terminals, ride the free Skylink to Terminal A. West End Station downtown is about 50 minutes away. Change there to a southbound Red or Blue Line train for one stop to EBJ Union Station, then walk.
From Dallas Love Field
It's about 11 km (7 miles) from the venue. DART Route 5 Love Link connects the terminal to Inwood/Love Field Station for trains downtown. A taxi or ride-hail car is quicker if you have bags.
By ride-hail or car
The center's rideshare drop-off is on the Lower C Driveway between Lamar and Griffin Streets, although it can change by event.
Race-weekend events
Parties, expos and side events
As of 15 October 2026, no official after-party, expo or community run had been announced for HYROX Dallas. The confirmed extras are the Thunderdome viewing area and the HYROX Entertainment Zone inside the venue. Watch HYROX's official channels and local HYROX gyms for shakeout runs closer to race week.
