Privacy policy

This page explains what RoxSkin collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions or requests: hello@roxskin.io.

If you just browse

We don't run advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. Race pages embed Google Maps and our story page embeds YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode); those services may set their own cookies when the embed loads.

If you create an athlete account

• Account: your email address, used to sign you in with a magic link and to send you updates about your auction.
• Profile: the name, handle, city, division, social links, bio and race results you enter. Your profile is only listed publicly if you switch that on.
• Body scan: the photos or video you upload are stored privately and used only to build your 3D avatar. They are never shown publicly. The finished avatar is public once you publish your profile, because that's what sponsors bid on.
• Charity auctions: the charity details you submit. They appear on your profile only after we verify them.

If you sponsor an athlete

We keep your email, the spot you bought, your logo, tagline and link (which are shown on the athlete's page while you hold the spot), and a record of the payment. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Who processes data for us

• Vercel: hosting.
• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
• Stripe: payments and refunds.
• Resend: sending emails.
• fal.ai: generating 3D avatars from scan photos, when automatic avatar building is used.

Some of these providers store data outside your country. We don't sell personal data to anyone.

Cookies

We only use cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and profile while you use RoxSkin. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your account, scan and avatar at any time.
