How much does HYROX training cost? Gym membership and drop-in prices in 23 countries (2026 data)

Original data from 157 HYROX gyms: median monthly membership and drop-in prices by country, free trials, station kit, and how to pay less.

By , founder of RoxSkin · Last checked October 29, 2026 · 1 source

A HYROX-focused gym membership costs about $101 a month at the median, based on 157 gyms in 23 countries that publish their prices. Half of them charge between about $77 and $146 a month. A single drop-in class costs about $22 at the median, and 66 gyms offer a free first class or trial. Prices vary more by country than by how "HYROX-specific" a gym is: a dedicated HYROX gym's median monthly price ($106) is close to that of a gym that only runs HYROX classes ($99).

Key findings

  • The median HYROX gym membership in our sample costs $101 a month (157 gyms, 23 countries, converted at 29 Oct 2026 exchange rates).
  • The middle half of gyms charge $77 to $146 a month. The cheapest monthly price we found was about $27 and the most expensive about $328.
  • The median drop-in class costs $22 (133 gyms). Half of drop-ins cost between $19 and $28.
  • 66 gyms advertise a free first class, session or week, out of 149 that publish trial terms.
  • 200 gyms say they take drop-in visitors, which matters if you're training while traveling or before an away race.
  • Gyms built around HYROX cost about the same as general gyms with HYROX classes: $106 vs $99 median per month.
  • Only 9 gyms in the directory confirm on their own site that they have all six station kits: sled, rower, SkiErg, sandbags, farmers handles and wall ball targets.

Monthly membership prices by country

Countries with at least five gyms publishing a monthly price. Local prices are medians, in the currency the gym charges; the US dollar column uses the same exchange rates for every country.

Country Gyms with a price Median monthly price In US dollars
France 25 €99 $110
Spain 25 €84 $93
United Kingdom 14 £49.50 $66
Germany 13 €84.90 $94
Mexico 10 MX$3,550 $189
United States 9 $175 $175
Japan 7 ¥14,300 $90
Netherlands 7 €89 $99
Poland 7 zł199.95 $51
Austria 6 €139 $155
Belgium 5 €70 $78
South Africa 5 R1,350 $81

A few patterns stand out:

  • Poland and the UK are the cheapest countries with five or more priced gyms, at medians of about $51 and $66 a month. For how the big UK chains run HYROX classes, see HYROX classes and gyms.
  • Mexico and the US are the most expensive, at medians of about $189 and $175 a month.
  • Most of Western Europe sits close to the overall median: France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands all fall between $93 and $110.

Smaller samples (two to four gyms each) put Canada at about $141, Italy at about $173 and Singapore at about $269 a month. Treat those as rough.

Drop-in class prices by country

Countries with at least four gyms publishing a drop-in price.

Country Gyms with a price Median drop-in In US dollars
France 23 €20 $22
United States 15 $30 $30
Spain 15 €15 $17
Mexico 9 MX$350 $19
United Kingdom 9 £11.99 $16
Japan 9 ¥4,400 $28
Germany 7 €20 $22
Singapore 6 S$34.50 $27
Austria 5 €30 $33
Belgium 4 €19 $21
Canada 4 C$31.50 $23
Poland 4 zł77.50 $20
South Africa 4 R280 $17

If you only want a few sessions before your first race, drop-ins can beat a month's membership. At the median prices above, four drop-ins in France cost about $88, less than the median French month of $110.

Is a dedicated HYROX gym worth paying more for?

In our data, a dedicated HYROX gym doesn't cost much more. Gyms whose main offer is HYROX training had a median monthly price of $106 (33 gyms). Gyms that run HYROX classes alongside other training had a median of $99 (124 gyms).

What you get is a bigger difference than what you pay. Check these before you sign up:

  1. The sled. 144 gyms confirm a sled, but fewer list a proper track. A short or carpet-free surface feels very different from race day. Our sled push and pull guide explains what to look for.
  2. Station kit. Only 9 gyms confirm all six station kits on their own site. Missing kit isn't a dealbreaker (see training without a sled), but you'll need substitutes.
  3. Running. Only 54 gyms confirm a running track or treadmills. If yours has neither, plan your run sessions outside.
  4. Coaching. Ask whether coaches have HYROX accreditation and whether the gym runs race simulations.
  5. Trial terms. 66 gyms offer a free first class or trial. Use it before committing to a contract.

How to pay less for HYROX training

  • Use the free trial first. 66 of the 149 gyms that publish trial terms (44%) offer one free.
  • Buy a class pack or a block. Some gyms sell class packs or fixed race-prep blocks (for example 12 weeks), which suit a single race build-up better than a rolling membership.
  • Train at your current gym. You can cover most of a HYROX build without a specialist gym. See our HYROX workouts you can do in any gym and the free training plan generator.
  • Get your race costs covered. Local businesses can sponsor your race kit, which can offset training costs too. See how to get paid to race HYROX.

To compare gyms near you, browse the HYROX gym directory, or jump to a city such as London or Paris.

Method and caveats

What's in the sample. The RoxSkin gym directory lists 754 gyms in 32 countries that offer HYROX training, each checked against its own website in October 2026. This analysis uses the 157 gyms that publish a monthly price and the 133 that publish a drop-in price, in one currency, on their own site. Gyms that only quote prices on request aren't included.

What "monthly price" means. It's the headline monthly price each gym publishes for the plan that includes HYROX classes. Some gyms sell HYROX as an add-on program, and some include it in an all-access membership, so the number isn't always the same kind of plan. Joining fees, contracts and discounts aren't included.

Currency conversion. Prices are converted to US dollars at European Central Bank reference rates for 29 October 2026. The UAE dirham uses its fixed peg. Local-currency medians are shown so you can ignore the conversion.

Medians, not averages. We report medians because a few expensive gyms would pull an average up.

Bias to keep in mind. Gyms that publish prices online may differ from gyms that don't, and our directory has more gyms in some countries than others. Samples under 10 gyms per country are small, so read those rows as a guide, not a rule.
